Collin's Miracle - Angeli

This is my cousin Collin:

He's serving a mission right now in Brazil, and shared it in his weekly email. Collin's mom battled breast cancer while I was on my mission - and is now a cancer survivor. She is another miracle, and I know she was blessed with healing because her son decided to serve a mission soon after she was diagnosed.

His miracle in his words:

Sunday night we also had the baptism of a girl named Angeli. It was awesome!
Angeli is an incredible story. She prayed earnestly to know if the church was true and if she should be baptized. This past Thursday she had a dream one night after she prayed. In her dream, she saw herself from a second person point of view. She saw 2 copies of herself. The first copy looked sad and sick and the other looked happy and full of light. She understood the first copy was her life before and that the second copy was her life now. She said the first copy died and then a voice said that the path she was on was good and true.
On Friday when she told us about her dream she ended and then said, "Me batize logo." Which means "Baptize me soon." That´s just about the best thing a missionary can hear. Then she whipped out a notebook (she uses it to take notes during our lessons) and started planning out her baptism: when the interview would be, when the baptism would be, what hymns we would sing (she has favorite hymns and she´s only been to church 3 times!), and all the other aspects of her baptism. It was incredible! We didn´t do anything!
Her life changing experience was completely because of her and the Lord: her personal effort and desire to seek and the Lord answering her prayers and preparing her to make these changes in her life. All we did was invite her to follow Christ. It´s been an incredible experience to know and help her.

I love this story! I love how he says "We didn't do anything!" He gives all the credit to Heavenly Father - something I want to work on doing in my life. I know that Heavenly Father will give us miracles in our lives even when we are weak and feel like we haven't done anything. All we need to do is try to be in the right place at the right time and trust in Him.
