Staff Appreciation

We have the BEST staff here in Haiti. Gina, Stanley, Junior, Bishop, Dodo, Lejin, Charlson, Fanez and Natacha (as well as Yves, Nerlande and other locals that volunteer with us). They keep us fed and safe, and I'm pretty certain they would give their lives to protect us. This Sunday, at the request of our volunteer Rhiannon, we had a staff appreciation dinner. Ashley Pico had brought several boxes of Mac & Cheese, so we made that as well as mango cobbler - hoping to give them a taste of American food. The food that Gina and Fanez cook for us is so much more delicious than mac & cheese, and I think the staff was wondering why a food like that would be popular in the US, but we had a great time with them, and hopefully they know that we love them!
