2016 Miracle #2 - boring title, awesome miracle!
I'm so excited today to share the miracle of a friend I grew up with and have recently reconnected with. Reconnecting feels like a miracle to me too. The past few weeks have been full of beautiful experiences and conversations as we are getting to know the people we have become.
His miracle occurred about 2 and 1/2 years ago and continues to bless him daily. At that time, he had graduated from physical therapy school and was looking for a place of employment. One day he had a great interview and went to get food afterwards, still dressed nicely, still with extra resumes in his car. At one stoplight during his drive, he noticed another location that might be in need of physical therapists and felt that he should go inside. After eating, he went back, walked inside, and felt an energy there that resonated with him.
He asked the receptionist if they were hiring any physical therapists, and she informed him that they were not at that time. However, she invited him to leave his resume with her after which he asked for more information about the clinic. She shared plenty of written material with him, which convinced him more that he would love to work there.
Here's the climax of the miracle, friends! The next day, the clinic boss emailed him and said that yesterday there were no positions available, but that day one of the physical therapists had given notice that he would be moving - so a position was becoming available! After two incredible interviews, he was offered the job and has been working there since. His understanding of physical and emotional healing has blessed so many people, and he knows that this is the place he needs to be right now.
I hope reading this miracle does for you what it did for me. This validated for me what I have believed all my life - that God is a God of miracles who cares about the details of our lives. Our happiness is important to Him. (Even the trials and heartache can bring us growth and happiness if we let them). God is a caring father who gives us certain impressions, like my friend had to go inside that building, because He needs us in certain places to fulfill our purpose/mission on earth. We can find our fulfill our personal purpose as we act on the feelings we have.
p.s. If you need a great physical therapist... let me know and I'll pass the center's information on to you :)
