another one from a mission letter home:

We are teaching a beautiful family - single mom and her 3 children. Sister Lewis was teaching her before I came to the area, but my first day in the area I called her to confirm an appointment and she dropped us. She had gotten a little scared and had weird things about the church. Anyway, we were sad, but went and heart attacked her door that day with scriptures written on the hearts. She loved it and the last 6 weeks has been reading things on LDS.org and Mormon.org. The Spanish sisters ran into her the other day and she told them she would like us to come back. We came this week and she and her 9 year old daughter are so prepared! The younger two are way cute, but not old enough to understand much. They all came to church yesterday and loved it. After church, the mom called her mother and told her she had found a church but was afraid to tell her which one. Then she decided to anyway and her mom was upset or anything. She really feels like this is the right path for her family. What a blessing and miracle!!! I love them!!

Kaleena and her oldest daughter were baptized July 28th last year! I found out that is the same day my friend Jo was baptized in the Chippenham Ward! Kaleena told us later that the night after she dropped us over the phone, she was sleeping and woke up with the words "Arise and Shine Forth" coming to her mind. She thought it sounded Biblical and googled it, and the first link that came up was to the LDS.org youth page ("Arise and Shine Forth" was the youth theme last year). That experience is why she continued reading on the church website, which prepared her to meet with us again. We talked on the phone a couple of weeks ago, and I couldn't believe how much she has grown. Her life has completely changed for the better, and she has changed my life!!!!!
