2 Mission Miracles From Friends

Two of my new friends out here in Utah, Stephen and Keith, came over the other night and shared some miracles with me from their missions. They gave me permission to share here.

Keith - served in Africa
One day Keith had to take his companion out of their area to go to a doctor. It was quite a trip, and Keith was getting antsy because he wanted to be in his area working and not wasting time. Finally, they were making their way home and he was hoping the day wasn't a waste. I guess they stopped at a gas station or something to get sandwiches, and they started talking with a man. This guy asked them how he could get baptized because he had taken lessons before but hadn't joined the church. They took care of that :)

Stephen - served in Colorado & Wyoming
One day Stephen and his companion were walking through a dark alley to get to the University of Wyoming library in order to email their families. It was cold, so they were very bundled up in their dark coats and the alley was dark, and they saw a girl coming towards them. They didn't want to scare her, but had committed to talk to everyone, so they spoke with her. She agreed to meet them the next day at the institute building for a lesson and gave them her number. The next day, she met them and told them she didn't know why she was there. That she never really left her apartment except for class, lived alone, and was not social. She didn't know why she gave them her number. She asked them, "why am I here?" At the end of that lesson they invited her to be baptized, and she said, "I don't know why, but yes, yes I will." They taught her and answered all her questions. Soon after her baptism, she was called to be a teacher (Gospel Principles) for her congregation (ward). She has completely changed and is very social and outgoing now. Christ's Gospel changes lives.
